Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 May 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Data Norfolk Ltd (company registered in England and Wales, registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]). By using GDPR Radar you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

GDPR Radar scans websites and reports potential areas of non-compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and related ICO guidance. Scan results are informational. They do not constitute legal advice, and a passing score does not certify legal compliance. For legal advice, consult a qualified solicitor.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and have legal authority to agree to these terms on behalf of any organisation you represent.

3. Plans and pricing

Agency£39/monthUnlimited10

Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.

4. Free accounts

Free accounts are limited to one scan per rolling 30-day period and one registered website. We may change these limits with 30 days' notice.

5. Payment and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused days within a billing period. If Stripe is unable to collect payment, we will attempt collection for up to 14 days before downgrading your account to the free tier.

6. Acceptable use

You may only scan websites you own or have written permission to scan. You must not:

7. Scan results and accuracy

Our scanner checks for indicators of compliance issues — it cannot detect every possible breach, and it may return false positives. Results reflect the state of your site at the time of the scan. We make no guarantee that acting on our recommendations will make your site fully compliant with UK GDPR or any other regulation.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security updates, or other operational reasons. Planned maintenance will be announced with at least 24 hours' notice where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

Data Norfolk Ltd's total liability to you under these terms shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any ICO fines, enforcement notices, or regulatory penalties, regardless of whether you relied on our scan results.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Sections 7, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
